League Openings

League Openings Rules

Last updated: August 22, 2026

1. Listing fee

  1. 1.1. Posting a listing costs $5 USD per season.
  2. 1.2. The fee covers one listing for one season, one sport.
  3. 1.3. Reopening a listing within the same season is free.
  4. 1.4. No refunds on listing fees, for any reason.

2. What you can list

  1. 2.1. Orphan teams (an existing team with no active owner).
  2. 2.2. Startup leagues (new league, no draft yet).
  3. 2.3. Redraft openings (one or more open spots in a returning league).
  4. 2.4. NBA and NFL leagues only, at launch.
  5. 2.5. You must be a commissioner, co-commissioner, or someone with real authority to fill the spot.

3. What you cannot list

  1. 3.1. Leagues that are already full.
  2. 3.2. Anything not a fantasy sports league (giveaways, ads, unrelated links).
  3. 3.3. NSFW, scam, or abusive content, in the listing or the linked page.
  4. 3.4. Duplicate listings for the same spot.
  5. 3.5. Listings with a fake or misleading draft date, buy-in, or platform.
  6. 3.6. League invite links or chat invite links anywhere in a listing. Interested managers contact you through the site and you decide who gets in.

4. Boosts

  1. 4.1. Anyone can boost any listing. You don’t need to be the commissioner.
  2. 4.2. Minimum boost is $1. Whole dollars only.
  3. 4.3. Rank on a sport’s board equals cumulative boost total, highest first.
  4. 4.4. Equal totals: whoever reached that total first stays ahead.
  5. 4.5. To take the #1 spot, pay at least $1 more than the current top total.
  6. 4.6. You only pay the difference. Boosts are cumulative, they add to the listing’s running total.
  7. 4.7. Paying less than the difference to #1 still moves you up, just not to the top.
  8. 4.8. Boosts never expire.
  9. 4.9. Boosts are not refundable.
  10. 4.10. The rank shown at checkout is a snapshot. It can change before your payment lands, since other people can boost at the same time.

5. Listing lifecycle

  1. 5.1. A listing goes live once payment clears.
  2. 5.2. Listings are hidden automatically when:
    • The commissioner marks the spot filled.
    • The draft date is more than 7 days in the past.
    • 30 days pass since the commissioner last confirmed the spot is open.
  3. 5.3. Reminder emails go out on day 23 and day 28 with a one-click “still open” button.
  4. 5.4. Confirming “still open” resets the 30-day clock.
  5. 5.5. A hidden listing can be reopened for free within the same season, through the manage link.

6. Managing your listing

  1. 6.1. Commissioners manage listings through an emailed magic link. There are no accounts or passwords.
  2. 6.2. Use the manage link to edit details, mark filled, confirm still open, or reopen.
  3. 6.3. Lost your link? Request a new one from the manage-link page. We’ll email it to the address on file.

7. Removal

  1. 7.1. We can remove any listing that breaks these rules, without notice and without refund.
  2. 7.2. This includes abusive, NSFW, scam, or off-topic listings.
  3. 7.3. Removal decisions are final.

8. Refunds

  1. 8.1. No refunds on listing fees.
  2. 8.2. No refunds on boosts.
  3. 8.3. This applies even if a listing is removed for breaking the rules, or if you change your mind.

9. Join requests

  1. 9.1. Managers ask to join through a form on the listing. The request is emailed to the commissioner with reply-to set to the sender.
  2. 9.2. The commissioner’s email is never shown. The sender’s email is shared only with that commissioner.
  3. 9.3. Requests are rate limited per person and per listing. Spam, fake identities, or harassment through the form gets you blocked.
  4. 9.4. The number of requests is shown publicly as a rough signal of interest, not proof anyone joined.

Boost FAQ

What does boosting a listing do?

It raises the listing’s rank on its sport’s board. Rank is based on cumulative boost total, highest first.

How much does it cost?

Whatever you want, in whole dollars, minimum $1.

Can I boost a league I’m not commissioning?

Yes. Anyone can boost any listing. If your league mate wants the spot filled faster, they can chip in directly.

How do I take the #1 spot?

Pay at least $1 more than the current top total. You only pay the difference, since your new payment adds to whatever the listing already has.

What if two listings have the same total?

Whoever reached that total first stays ahead. Adding to your boost later moves your timestamp, so topping up to tie someone puts you behind them.

Do boosts expire?

No. Once a boost is added to a listing’s total, it stays there for the life of the listing.

Can I get a refund on a boost?

No. Boosts are not refundable, even if the listing gets filled or removed right after.

Why did the rank change between checkout and payment?

The rank you see at checkout is a snapshot. Other people can boost at the same time as you, so totals can shift before your payment finishes processing.
