One of my favorites. We start with a $300 budget Auction. Every 3 weeks we drop the bottom two teams, then have a mini auction and cannibalize the players of the dropped teams. Once we get down from 16 teams to 8 teams, we have a playoff with some stacked teams.

The auctions are all slow auctions with 8 hr timers and bid resets so each one takes roughly a week to complete, so no need to be at a specific time to auction. Just check in, make your bids, talk some trash and have fun.
